1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using Mathsonaut ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by Mathsonaut ("we", "us", "our").

2. Who can use Mathsonaut

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent account.
  • Child profiles may only be created by a parent or legal guardian.
  • By creating a child profile, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child and consent to their data being processed as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • The free trial (Level 1) may be used without an account.

3. The Service

Mathsonaut is an online maths learning platform for children aged 4–10. The Service includes:

  • Badges, streaks, and rewards to motivate learners

4. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share your login details with anyone. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Each account may have up to 5 child profiles.

5. Payment and pricing

  • Level 1 is free forever, with no account required.
  • Full access to all 10 levels is available via an annual subscription. The current price is displayed on the checkout page.
  • Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card details.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew annually. You may cancel at any time from your parent dashboard. Upon cancellation, access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Discount codes, where offered, are single-use and subject to their own terms.

6. Refunds

If you are not satisfied with Mathsonaut, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase. You can process your refund directly from the parent dashboard under Account Settings. Alternatively, you can email support@mathsonaut.com.

  • Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase.
  • Upon refund, your subscription is cancelled and access to Levels 2–10 is revoked immediately.
  • Progress data for Levels 2–10 will be permanently deleted.
  • Level 1 progress and child profiles are preserved.
  • Refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

After 14 days, refunds are handled at our discretion and in accordance with your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

7. AI-generated content

Mathsonaut uses artificial intelligence to generate some maths questions. While we strive for accuracy:

  • AI-generated content is provided for educational purposes and may occasionally contain errors.
  • We review and validate question formats but cannot guarantee perfection in every generated question.
  • Parents are encouraged to supervise younger children during use.

  • Attempt to access another user's account
  • Interfere with the proper operation of the Service
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape content from the Service
