1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners.

2. Cookies we use

Mathsonaut uses only strictly essential cookies that are necessary for the Service to function. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

CookiePurposeDuration

3. Local storage

In addition to cookies, we use browser local storage for:

  • Guest mode data — learning progress for the free trial (Level 1). This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.

You can clear local storage at any time through your browser settings.

4. Third-party cookies

We do not allow any third-party analytics or advertising cookies. During the checkout process, Stripe may set its own essential cookies to process your payment securely. See Stripe's cookie policy for details.

5. Managing cookies

Because we only use essential cookies, we do not require your consent under UK/EU cookie regulations (the "cookie law"). However, you can control cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling essential cookies may prevent you from logging in.

6. Changes

If we introduce non-essential cookies in the future (e.g. analytics), we will update this policy and request your consent before setting them.
